Clean Mixed Heavy Waste has a higher price due to its weight-based nature, ensuring you know exactly what you’re paying for. General Waste can lead to uncertainty if filled with heavy construction materials such as soil, gravel, cement, dirt, sand, asphalt/bitumen, clay, bricks, stone, tiles (including terracotta), rocks, limestone, granite, marble, slate, pavers, pebbles, cobblestones, and lime mortar. Heavy materials require extra effort equipment, and safety precautions during transportation and disposal, adding to the costs. While our Clean Mixed Heavy Waste pricing may seem higher, it covers the complexities and expenses of handling heavier materials. We remain committed to offering quality same day service and competitive rates.

The provided price is specifically for Clean Masonry. Clean Masonry encompasses only Bricks, Concrete, Dry Cement, Blocks, Stone, Tiles including Terracotta, Rocks, Limestone, Granite, Marble, Slate, Pavers, Pebbles, Cobblestones, Lime Mortar. Be mindful that no other material can go into this bin. Any Concrete over 500mm please call for a Quote.

An excess weight charge of $297 per tonne will automatically apply to your card when the weight limit is exceeded. General Waste encompasses a mixture of non-hazardous, lightweight materials commonly discarded in standard bins. This category includes a mixture of Furniture, Textiles, Wood, Gyprock, Metal, Fittings and Fixtures, Timber, Branches, Leaves, Grass, Soil, Bricks, Stone, along with everyday household and various miscellaneous items not designated for recycling or special disposal. Be mindful that Extra Charge items apply, and Prohibited items are not accepted.

Extra charge items refer to specific materials, such as tyres, mattresses, tree stumps that incur additional fees for disposal. Prohibited items are not allowed in the bin at all. For more details, refer to our Terms and Conditions.

Yes, charges apply for the disposal of non-recyclable items that consist of more than 40% of the bin. Please consult our Terms and Conditions for information on charges related to non-recyclables.

We hold annual permits for Randwick, Inner West, & Woollahra Councils, eliminating additional permit costs in these areas. However, it’s essential to inform the Council about your intentions, as their terms and conditions still apply. Bins placed on your private property (behind your gate or fence) do not require a permit. Yet, if you plan to position the bin on public property including but not limited to a driveway (where owned by Council), footpaths, sidewalk, street, nature strip, metered parking, park, or parking lot, obtaining a council permit is necessary. Note that some locations may not be permissible. Please contact the Council directly to discuss the approval and authorisation for placing the bin at your desired location.

Follow these steps to effectively cover your bin with a tarp:

  1. Measure: Choose the bin you wish to Book with us and note down the dimensions for that bin. This will help you select the right-sized tarp accordingly.
  2. Position the Tarp: After the bin has been delivered, lay the tarp flat on the ground, positioning it side-by-side with the bin.
  3. Cover the Bin: Pull the tarp up and over the bin, ensuring it completely covers the top and sides.
  4. Secure the Tarp: Use bungee cords, ropes, or strong clips to secure the tarp around the bin tightly. Ensure it is fastened securely to prevent wind from blowing it off.
  5. Check Stability: Confirm that the tarp is firmly in place and that it adequately covers the bin to discourage any unauthorised dumping.

By following these steps, you can effectively utilise a tarp to cover your bin and prevent unwanted deposits from neighbours.

No, the bin doesn’t include a cover designed specifically for this purpose. However, a helpful solution involves purchasing a tarpaulin, commonly known as a tarp (available in poly or vinyl), from stores like Bunnings Warehouse, Mitre 10, or Supercheap Auto. This tarp can effectively cover the bin and discourage any unwelcome dumping by neighbours.

We do not feature doors on our bins. However, specific bin sizes, ranging from 4 Marrell to 14 Marrell (https://purplecowindustries.com.au/bin-sizes/), are designed with wheelbarrow access. These bins have a lowered edge or a designated area, making it easier to use a wheelbarrow for disposing of materials. This design is especially helpful for handling gardening or construction waste efficiently. For more details on our product specifications please contact our office.

The bin sizes provided are approximate and may vary slightly from bin to bin. Our measurement represent external dimensions. If you have additional questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact us.

Our Terms and Conditions are accessible on our official website. You can locate them by navigating to the ‘Terms and Conditions’ tab or scrolling down to the footer. We strongly recommend reading them before booking a bin with us.
